Meaning:

iraviyar 			- The 12 Adityas
maNi nedu thErodum 		- with their great chariots,
padhinoru vidaiyarum 		- the 11 Rudras
iRaiyavar 			- who are the lords of the samsaris,
aRumugan 			- Subramanya
maruviya mayilinan 		- with his matching peacock vehicle,
marudharum 			- the 49 Marut ganas, and
vasukkaLum 			- the 8 Vasus
vandhu vandhu 			- are jostling each other
INdi 				- and standing closely;
pAdalum Adalum 			- with song and dance
kumarathaNdam pugundhu 		- the divine armies enter
puraviyOdu thErum 		- with their chariots drawn by horses
INdiya veLLam 			- and are collected like a flood;
ivarO, ivanO 			- here they stand
nin mun 			- in Your divine focus
kOyil 				- at Your temple
aru varaiya anaiya 		- that's like a great mountain.
arangkaththammA 		- O! Lord of Srirangam,
paLLi ezhundharuLAy 		- please wake up and grace us.

Vyakhyana Saram:
Along with the Subramanya, who is the chief of the armies of the devas, all the other devas that rule the worlds, have come with their conveyances and instruments of service and seeking You to have their wishes fulfilled. Please wake up and grace them with Your divine grace, says Azhvar.
