Previously it was said that Thiruvaymozhi, made of a thousand shakas (“sandhangaL Ayiram”), is a Veda. The question if it can be considered as a Veda, is answered next.

Acharya Hrudhayam 39:
“‘evvulagaththevvevaiyum’ engaiyAlE vEdham bahuvidham.”

Veda is varied or of many types – bahuvidham. This is mentioned in Thiruvaymozhi itself as “OdhuvAr OththellAm evvulagaththu evvevaiyum” (Thiruvaymozhi 3.1.6). The Vedas are many – they vary by the multiple worlds in which they are present and by the abilities of those who practice them in those worlds.

In this framework, Thiruvaymozhi too is considered as one type of Veda.
